A bit about me.

I grew up in the middle of Wales, UK, surrounded by farms and nature. This upbringing gave me my interest and love for the outdoors.

I begin my travels.

At 19 I left the UK with no return ticket. My first destination was Thailand, then I went to Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. I saw amazing nature, met incredible people, and gained invaluable life experiences.

Time to rest.

After 6 months traveling from hostel to hostel, I arrived in Cambodia. Bank funds were dwindling, and I had the choice of going home or trying to continue my adventure. I found a job teaching English in Siem Reap and stayed for 1 year.

Land down under.

After Cambodia I went to Australia to do a Working Holiday for 2 years. During my time there I drove across the whole of the country from Perth to Darwin and then to Melbourne.

And then Japan!

I first visited Japan in 2017 and traveled from Hokkaido to Okinawa. I knew I wanted to visit again and I had always wanted to learn a second language, so I decided to challenge myself and took a 2 year Japanese language course in Sapporo.

Exploring Hokkaido.

When I wasn’t studying or working, I was out hiking, snowboarding and camping. I have seen and done a lot in my short time here, but there a still many many spots I haven’t explored yet. Hokkaido is the gift that keeps on giving!

and now Nobo Tours!

I love the outdoors and I love people, so I decided to start my own guiding business in 2024 to be able to show you guys what an amazing place Hokkaido is. That’s enough about me, now let me guide you around this beautiful area I call home!
