Mt. Ichankoppe Guided Hiking Tour

Tour Overview

Experience Mt. Ichankoppe’s Spectacular Lake Views!

Leave the busy trails behind on this guided hike to Mt. Ichankoppe, one of the most scenic viewpoints overlooking Lake Shikotsu in Shikotsu-Toya National Park.

The trail climbs steadily through peaceful forests before reaching a scenic ridgeline with spectacular views of Lake Shikotsu and Mt. Eniwa, where steam can often be seen rising from its active crater. At the summit, we’ll stop for a snack and enjoy the panoramic mountain scenery before returning along the same trail.

With peaceful forest trails and breathtaking lake views, Mt. Ichankoppe is one of Hokkaido’s most rewarding day hikes.
