Aidan helped during all the difficult sections perfectly and baked delicious cookies and bread for the lunch sandwiches!Posted on KEE WAI LEONGTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great snowshoeing experience guided by Aidan for me and my wife. We enjoyed the mesmerizing views of the snow trees and the tranquility of the woods. Highly recommended snowshoeing tours.Posted on Mei LiuTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We started the day at 9AM, where Aidan picked us up from Noboribetsu station. He was very friendly and introduced himself. Before we headed off to Lake Tachibana, Aidan first drove us to a nearby 7-Eleven to stock up on some water which he recommended us to do, because we forgot (oops!). He then drove us to the parking lot near the hiking site, where he showed us how to put on our snowshoes, and how to use poles for support. Aidan was very helpful in assisting me putting on my snowshoes since my fingers were starting to get really cold! We were very lucky to have blue skies and lots of sun, although it snowed very heavily the day before which made the trek more difficult than anticipated. Despite this, Aidan lead in front, trudging through very heavy snow with no problem and making conversation as we went. The vibe was super chill, and Aidan made sure to remind us that we can take frequent breaks which we happily did and he never rushed us or tried to hurry us along. When we reached the lake, he offered us hot chocolate and homemade cookies which were such a pleasant surprise! It was so delicious whilst we admired the quiet and vastness of the lake. Definitely made the whole trek through deep snow worth it!! Thank you Aidan for such a pleasant and positive experience for our first time snow shoeing :) Hope to see you again soon!Posted on Cal GuinoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome tour snow shoeing to Lake Tachibana with Aidan! Even though we were first-timers, Aidan was able to guide us to the lake and back through deep snow. We took loads of breaks throughout and even fell over a few times, but Aidan was super patient and helpful. Even got some mid-hike motivational hot chocolate and homebaked cookies 🍪🍪Posted on Shih Kiat ChngTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our guide was spoke English and was a great guide as we made our way up. I cannot recommend Nobo Tours enough. As an independent tour operator he showed us views you can’t see with anyone else.Posted on David YeeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a great snowshoe experience with Aidan. Highly recommend the experience of trekking in snow. Aidan picked us at the hotel, gave us a quick check to make sure we are dressed properly (layers, gloves, shoes, etc). We signed a waiver and we were driven to a toilet stop just before we start the hike. (Suggestion: Use the toilet. There are no toilets during the 3-hour hike up/down). We were taught how to put on the gaiters. Then a shorter drive to the start point. We had the whole mountain to ourselves 🗻. We put on the gear (snowshoes, poles) and off we go. Started with a gentle slope. The landscape was breathtaking. When we stopped, the place was just so quiet. We love the snowy trees and mountain and beautiful blue sky. It started snowing as we ascend, but we were warm from the workout. Aidan was so patient and stopped whenever we needed to. No hurry. Just enjoy the experience. (It was still quite a workout to climb up the slopes. So breathe. Rest. Take your time.) Aidan was never in a rush. We took 1h 30 min to hike 2.4km (elevation gain of 240 m) to the top (at our pace, enjoying the views) Aidan has dug a place for us to sit and bundle around, away from the winds. There, we had amazing sandwiches and hot chocolate. Never knew it was such a bliss to eat sandwiches and drink hot chocolate with snow falling on us. We took 1 hour to hike down. We had fun sliding down some slopes. Aidan drove us back to the same toilet stop and then to our hotel. It was an amazing experience knowing we were in Aidan’s excellent hands. Highly recommend this experience with Aidan. We saw on some posters there are 1-h, 3-h or full day snowshoe. I feel 1-h may be too short. Would recommend a 3h (this means a 3h snowshoe plus 1-h drive).Posted on freddys94127Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We did a snowshoe tour and a had a wonderfully day. Aiden is a great guide and the lunch (self made bread with self made cookies) were amazing as well.
